The challenges of Christian missions
The Basel mission which later become Presbyterian church in Cameroon was one the most important religious mission in Cameroon in the days of the Germans but they where always in doctrinal conflict with other Christian missions in Cameroon. presently the Presbyterian church has its college of pastors in kumba where their pastors are trained in their own theology and doctrines.
Catholic mission came to Cameroon in 1890 by german pallotin missionaries but they also are not evangelical in their teachings and doctrine.
In 1961 full gospel mission was fully establish in Cameroon with their bible institute in muyuka which was latter transfer to nkwen, bamenda ,of the north west province of Cameroon .full gospel bible institute is evangelical and Pentecostal in teaching and doctrines but its tuition fees are expensive and the distance is far from other town in the republic of Cameroon. Many Christian leaders can not enroll for training becourse of the high tuition fees , and ex[pensive living cindition in a far away distance town.
There is need for free books and gospel tract to facilitate the work of the ministry in cameroon.
